Dr. Simon Görs studied energy engineering at RWTH Aachen University (M.Sc.). During his doctorate (Dr.-Ing.) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christof Schulz at the University of Duisburg-Essen (2013–2018), he deepened his practical and theoretical expertise in combustion technology for stationary gas turbines. His research focused on optical combustion diagnostics and was conducted in cooperation with Siemens AG.

Dr. Simon Görs completed his training as a patent attorney at a large patent law firm in Düsseldorf. He has been a partner at the firm magenbauer since January 2025.

He advises his clients in German and English.
