Bernd Vogler studied chemical engineering specializing in process engineering at the Technical University (TU) of Karlsruhe (now Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, KIT). Following his studies, Bernd Vogler worked as a project engineer in the field of energy and environmental technology.

Bernd Vogler began his training as a patent attorney in January 1999 at a patent law firm in Stuttgart and has been admitted as both a German Patent Attorney and a European Patent Attorney since 2002. He has been a partner at the firm magenbauer since January 2005.

He advises his clients in German and English.
